Sparta

The Sparta by Orbita Watch winders is a single desktop unit that comes in a variety of colors and textures made with a poly-carbonate sturdy aluminium frame. One of Orbita's most popular models for its affordability and simple function. Choose from the original bold collection with its hard coated powder textured finish, or the brighter vibrant version, and also the covered grained leather option. They also make a 2 unit watch winder and a mini version which is half the size and great for travel. Sparta's open face design is ideal for watches of any shape and size up to 60mm in diameter, however smaller cushions are available for smaller bands and straps that are easily interchangeable within the mounting cup.

The Sparta is perfect for placement anywhere including safes as it uses batteries and weighs 2.4 pounds. The convenient battery compartment is located at the rear of the unit and uses two D 3.6V lithium batteries that provide power to lasts up to 5 years. The
system has two programming options via a selector toggle switch easily accessible behind the removable mounting cup. The winding system is a patented ROTORWIND operation which winds the watch making one full rotation and then uses gravity to rock side to side both bi-directional, clockwise and counter-clockwise like a pendulum to give your mechanical timepiece optimum performance. There is an 8 minute cycle, which will wind your watch 1300 rotations per day or a battery saving 12 minute cycle with 850 rotations per day. Voyager

The Voyager Travel Watch Winder from Orbita is another great piece that can go anywhere and easily packs into luggage or your carry-on bag. Comes in three pieces that's easily, assembled within a leather case.

The base is where the Swiss made micro-motor is located and the the battery compartment is accessible with 3 AAA batteries. The top is a pedestal style base with dual stainless steel rollers and rubber protective end caps that rotate the cylinder. The base has a convenient power indicator light and an off/on switch. There is also a Hi/Lo switch that will wind your watch on Lo 800 turns per day clockwise or 1300 turns per day via the Hi selector switch with the option of  turning the base 180 degrees which will allow for counter-clockwise rotations. 

The open hollow stainless steel mounting cylinder has a plastic lined interior which is where the removable, compressible, padded cushion sits and can hold most watch sizes up to 60mm in diameter with a standard size cushion depth of 1.5 inches or for smaller bands and bracelets we have an optional 1.25 depth cushion available.
