Conquering The Oceans with the "Marine Diver"

The fully redesigned Marine Diver showcases all the qualities of a genuine diving watch, with its screw-locked crown, rotating bezel and case that is water-resistant to 300 meters. The equally sporty women’s version measures a perfect 40 mm in diameter. In terms of performance, this watch has all the attributes required of a diving watch. Ulysse Nardin's Marine Diver features a unidirectional rotating bezel, which prevents any accidental adjustment to the dive time. For the same safety reasons, every aspect of the new Marine Diver has been designed to facilitate the reading of its precious indications: The impressive 44 mm face displays large hour-markers and hands with a white luminescent coating and a red stripe, for perfect visibility. The small seconds at 6 o'clock are also oversized, offering a reassuring sign that the watch is functioning as it should, even in the water’s murky depths. Lastly, the claw-shaped rubber molding over the crown ensures it is easy to grip, even with diving gloves.

For the Jazz Minute Repeater, the artist applied 18-carat gold “musicians” to a genuine black onyx dial. From their performance space, they play with enthusiasm to their audience. When the minute repeater lever is activated, the hours, quarters and minutes, or a combination of these units, chime, and the band begins its show, playing along with the time.

Born from an iconic line, the Dual Time Manufacture enables the second time zone and date to be adjusted both forward and backward. Like the Marine collection, it is now equipped with a movement that has been developed and manufactured entirely in-house by Ulysse Nardin.

The bold modernity of this outstanding timepiece is complemented by a few classic touches, for an air of casual elegance. Water resistant to 30 m, its completely redesigned 42 mm-diameter case is available in steel or 18 ct rose gold, mounted on a leather strap or a steel or rose gold bracelet with deployment buckle. While ensuring perfect readability, the openwork hour and minute hands that sweep around the black or silver-finish dial add a delicate, light touch that characterizes truly timeless watches. Ulysse Nardin launches its first in-house designed and produced self-winding caliber for women’s watches, paying tribute to the female clientele who appreciate its quest for innovation.

Jade is the flagship timepiece in this new Ulysse Nardin collection for ladies and marks a first in Ulysse Nardin history. Never before has Ulysse Nardin designed and produced an in-house movement exclusively for a ladies collection, demonstrating the manufacturer’s commitment to its female clientele.

Unique in its concept, it is designed and built in such a way that it does not call for pushing or pulling of the crown to set the date and time, meaning NO MORE damage to the ladies' manicure.

Drawing on the inventive spirit of Ulysse Nardin, silicium technology is used in the development of the base caliber, escapement wheels and Swiss anchor. A technologically advanced material, silicium was first brought to the forefront of haute horology by Ulysse Nardin with the unveiling of the revolutionary Freak. Unlike conventional materials, Silicium is not affected by close proximity to magnetism which is widespread these days (such as when the watch is placed close to mobile phones), making it a modern-day necessity.
