Inspired by the "SEIGAIHA" or blue ocean waves deriving from an ancient Japanese tradition as a symbol of peace, good luck and good fortune. The SLA053 automatic timepiece has a 44mm hard coated black stainless steel case with black ceramic 120 click rotating uni-directional elapsed timing bezel and 300 meter water resistance well suited for professional diving. A deep ocean blue scale textured pattern dial is surrounded by a minutes track on outer dial behind an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Equipped with date window @3 with luminous markers and baton style hands are easily legible in any environment. Fitted with a screw-down crown positioned at 4:00 for increased comfort to provide security against moisture and dirt intrusion. Powered by Seiko's own in-house movement caliber 8L35 with an impressive 50 hour power reserve capacity. The monobloc case is one piece marked limited edition on the case back and numbered out of 500 pieces made. Fitted with a black vented rubber silicone corrugated strap with black tang buckle and black stainless steel hard coated metal safety keeper will keep your watch secure and in place. Comes with a specialty box and matching stainless steel cufflinks.
