Seiko - Presage Automatic | SSA453

The new Seiko Presage SSA423 timepiece is part of the "Style 60's" Collection inspired by the classic 1964 Crown Chronograph, Seiko's own first wristwatch equipped with Japan's first stopwatch function. The 40.8mm polished stainless steel case has a partial open heart dial that displays Seiko's in-house caliber movement 4R39.  The classic blue satin dial has a box shaped glare-resistant sapphire crystal with a small 24-hr sub-dial located @11. Small details such as the beige LumiBright application to the razor sharp diamond shaped hands and indice markers, gives this a vintage feel but still easily legible. Fashioned after the retro colors of that time, a fixed contrasting aluminum bezel surrounds the minutes track on the contoured chapter ring.  The stainless steel easy-grip oversized crown has a 50 meter water resistance capacity. Fitted with a suede vintage style NATO strap with brushed and polished tang buckle to secure in place on the wrist.
