Remaining true to its heritage the Airman Base 22 "Mystery" Ref. 3887.99-66-TB99 from Glycine is an iconic and classic pilots watch that's made with modern materials to today's standards with the aesthetics inspired by the first Airman wristwatches presented in 1953.
The Automatic modified Swiss ETA 2893-2 movement is viewable through the exhibition smoked mineral crystal case back window with Glycine's own specialty engraved automatic rotor bearing the image of an airplane. The stainless steel case coated with black PVD is 42mm wide with polished and brushed finishes and curved and angled lugs which helps the watch hug the wrist. This piece is equipped with a special locking rotating bezel with 24 hour scale for use in telling time in a second timezone. The dial and indexes are completely dark (hence its name) and has a 24-hour counter behind a sapphire scratch resistant crystal. The Airman Base 22 provides reliable time with a power reserve of 42 hours and screw-down crown to insure safe wearing of up to 200 meters underwater.
The Airman Base 22 Collection by Glycine can boast that its professional pilots watches are coveted by actual pilots -- a rare feature among the legions of “professional” watches out there.
As an Authorized Dealer, we are proud to offer this watch with a full 2 year Factory Warranty.
