TimeScape's Experience Eterna Event

https://www.timescapeusa.com/collections/eterna

Our Experience Eterna Event was a grand time with a Polynesian themed night of food, beverages, gifts and décor. We had the Eterna limited edition Bronze Kontiki displayed and some diver prototype pieces from the new fall collection. Nico, the Eterna Representative was on hand to talk about the new pieces and the history of Eterna watches. We offered prizes and drawings with TimeScape caps and glasses along with Eterna ties as give-aways and met a few new watch enthusiast along with some familiar faces.

The new Eterna Kontiki automatic divers collection will be available to purchase from our store shortly, however we are still taking pre-orders of pieces including the Kontiki limited edition Bronze. Until then here is a few observations about the new pieces seen at our Experience Eterna Event.

The new mens' diver Kontiki pieces feature sandblasted finishes on the dials which look exquisite and work well with the new style of bezel that displays the US Navy “no decompression” scale on the uni-directional bezel.

The 44mm size watch case is brushed with polished sides and is surprisingly not to bulky or large on the wrist. The Kontiki raft emblem is stamped on the case back with silicone rubber strap and twin stainless steel push button deployant clasp closures to stay secure on the wrist. The Eterna logo on the clasp is slightly different than older versions as the 5 ball bearing logo is now on the side instead of over the Eterna name with a brushed and polished finish.

I noticed the date window is slanted and obscurely  located at the 4 within the dial. The luminescence signature triangle shaped indices are large and easily readable with polished stainless steel razor pointed sword style hands. The five ball bearing logo is shown within the 12 indice and on the polished oversized screw down crown. The mens' dials come in three versions, navy with blue ceramic bezel, black anthracite with matching bezel, and a satin white fully luminous dial with steel bezel. The steel version has a brushed and polished 3 link bracelet and is sturdy but still elegant and sporty.  Powered by SW200 from Sellita caliber movements and prices ranging from $1800 and up the Kontiki Collection offers lots of affordable quality.
