The Antarctic Collection embodies the understated sophistication that defined the original 1950s version from the Nivada Grenchen brand, this modern interpretation brings that same vintage  style with modern elements and esthetics. Housed in a 38mm stainless steel case with a creamy satin eggshell dial featuring applied faceted art deco style indexes. Luminous dauphine style hands with blue seconds is easily legible under a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Luminous tipped silver Arabic and arrow shaped markers are surrounded by a black minutes track. Powered by Soprod P024 automatic Swiss-made self-winding movement with 38 hour power reserve. The polished stainless steel case-back pays homage to that first Antarctic trip showcased scene embossed on a gold center medallion fitted with domed onion shaped crown with 100 meter water resistance. This piece comes in several watch band options from stitched calf-skin leather, racing perforated style, rubber tropic textured weave to stainless steel 3-link bracelet or the beads of rice option.

Born from its original exploration, the Nivada Grenchen brand stays true to its original 1950's Antarctic wristwatch roots with the Super Antarctic Collection. Featuring classic vintage style with modern elements and sophistication. Today’s Antarctic is an evolution from the original Antarctic keeping close to the 50s’ lines & design.
