The Super Antarctic 3.6.9 Collection is a rendition of the original classic Antarctic timepiece from the Swiss brand Nivada Grenchen. Worn by the American Navy Deep Freeze 1 Task Force during their South Pole expeditions, this modern interpretation brings that same vintage 1950's style with modern elements and esthetics. Housed in a 38mm stainless steel case available with two dial color options, satin black or tropical brown. Featuring a vintage gloss dial with aged patina markers, numerals and hands. Applied stick indices and retro font painted 3, 6, & 9 (referenced in its namesake) Arabic numerals with pyramid shaped markers is surrounded by a minutes track on outer dial. Stylish pointed circular lollipop tipped hour hand with sword style minutes and sweep seconds are easily legible under a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Powered by Soprod P024 automatic Swiss-made self-winding movement with 38 hour power reserve. The polished stainless steel case-back pays homage to that first Antarctic trip showcased scene embossed on a gold center medallion fitted with corrugated dome shaped crown with 100 meter water resistance. This piece comes in several watch band options from stitched calf-skin leather, racing perforated style, rubber tropic textured weave to stainless steel 3-link bracelet or the beads of rice option.

Born from its original exploration, the Nivada Grenchen brand stays true to its original 1950's Antarctic wristwatch roots with the Super Antarctic Collection. Featuring classic vintage style with modern elements and sophistication. Today’s Super Antarctic is an evolution from the original Antarctic keeping close to the 50s’ lines & design.
