The SEIKO 5 Sports Series is a true classic timepiece and must have favorite staple for any true watch enthusiasts collection. The Heritage series replicates a new recreation of the original designs from the 1960'S styles staying true to the size and form with updated specifications and the original SEIKO 5 logo @12. Limited to just 9,999 pieces made, the SRPL91 was worn and made popular by Gene Kranz, an aerospace engineer who worked for NASA that directed the first Apollo lunar landing mission in 1969.  The 38.2mm automatic polished and brushed stainless steel case has the same original shaped designed with manual wind capacity and hack function for precision setting. The silver sunbrushed dial is equipped with a bi-directional sliding coin-edge bezel with black number accents. The calendar day/date display replicated the original model with a reverse black/white color scheme @3.  Luminous baton shaped hands and markers are surrounded by a minutes track under a hardlex crystal. The stainless steel crown is strategically positioned at 4:00 for increased comfort with 100 meter water resistance rating. Powered by Seiko's own in-house-made automatic caliber 4R36 movement with 41 hour power reserve. Fitted with a brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet with adjustable bi-fold butterfly safely clasp for precise fit.
