The Speedtimer Solar Chronograph Series, part of the Prospex Collection inspired by Seiko's first precision chronographs, developed for international sporting competitions in 1964.  Combining the convenience of solar power and rugged durability with sporty style, the SSC927 chronograph features a black aluminum tachymeter bezel. The brushed and polished 41mm stainless steel case is equipped with a red satin dial inspired by the colors of vintage automobiles under a curved sapphire crystal.  Applied silver LumiBright markers and sword style hands are easily legible with slanted date window @4.  Equipped with bi-colored white and black chrono-hand, sub-seconds, 24hour sub dial and power reserve indicator functions surrounded by black minutes track on outer dial. Polished chronograph pushers measure 60 minutes in 1/5- second increments with 100 meter water resistance rating. Seiko's own in-house movement caliber V192 is powered by light, using ambient or direct sunlight with 6 month power reserve for low easy maintenance (no need for a battery). Fitted with a stainless brushed and polished 3-link bracelet with deployment butterfly safety clasp adjustable by 5 positions will keep your watch secure and in place.
