In a recent blog post, we wrote about some of the new timepieces being released from Ulysse Nardin that will be showcased at Basel this Fall. We are pleased and excited to have received some of these fine wristwatches as they are being produced hot off the bench. We are fortunate to be one of a few dealers in the country to have first access to the new Dual Time Manufacture.
The magnificence of these pieces is reinfornced by Ulysse Nardin now producing and manufacturing their own in-house movements. With the Dual Time Manufacture, not only is it an elegant wristwatch with an extremely useful patented mechanism but inside it satisfies a true timepiece connoisseur's appreciation of fine watch design. Whats unique about the Dual Time Manufacture is that you can easily set and adjust the dual-time features both forward and backward along with setting the date without damaging the mechanism. We have several versions of this elegant piece now in-stock. We have the silver dial with rose gold case and classic brown alligator strap (Ref. 3346-26/91). We also have the silver dial with stainless steel case on a black strap (Ref. 3343-126/91) and the black dial with stainless steel case and bracelet (Ref. 3343-126-7/92). Be one of the first in the country to have this gorgeous piece.
Ulysse Nardin has a rich maritime history famous for creating marine chronometers for 19th Century ships. The Marine Chronometer wristwatch line has long been a staple in their collection. We have just received new versions from the Marine Chronometer Manufacture line which feature their in-house movement, caliber 118. Available in a classic navy blue dial with matching blue alligator strap in a 43mm stainless steel case (Ref. 1183-126/63), and a beautiful black dial version with roman numerals in a slightly larger 45mm case with black strap(Ref. 1183-126/42). We also have a 43mm version (Ref. 1183-126-3/61) with an elegant silver dial in a stainless steel case with black rubber and titanium strap.
The final piece we just received is the Marine Chronograph Manufacture (Ref.1503-150/62). It features the self-winding caliber UN-150 in-house movement with its own silicon escapement and balance spring. The movement is composed of 322 parts and beats at a frequency of 28,800. With 48hrs power reserve, the movement powers a central hours and minutes display, a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, and the date, in a window at 4:30, along with the chronograph, which has a center-mounted seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock.
