An ingenious winding system for hand wound watches, the Sempre Collection from the ORBITA Brand will wind, but never over-wind, your manually wound mechanical timepiece. The 2-unit winding mechanism simulates finger winding action with soft plastic collets in a variety of sizes that are easily interchangeable for different crowns. The innovative Sempre microprocessor senses increased resistance as the mainspring is being wound and automatically stops winding when the watch approaches the fully wound state. The control circuit is user adjustable and has a factory set slip-clutch in the event the microprocessor fails which eliminates any possibility of stressing or breaking the mainspring of your mechanical watch. Powered by batteries, the compact winder is removable but comes in a key lockable glossy lacquered burl or teakwood case. Your watch will be on full display and secured behind a sloped front glass front viewing panel with polished quadrant hinged top opening. The interior and outer case bottom surface is lined in scratch resistant velour to prevent damage to furniture tops.

Manual Wind: Adjustable but factory set on lowest torque setting

  • Microprocessor monitors electrical current drawn by the gear motor as it rotates and winds watch by plastic collets via the crown
  • Drive motor rotates collets every 24 hours for 8 minutes with 48 maximum crown rotations per day or shuts down and adjusts by torque tension
